Merchant terms

VERSION 2026-08-03 · APPLIES TO EVERY STORE ON SATURNSHOP

Plain version: you are the seller. SaturnShop is the software your store runs on. The money goes from your buyer to you, not through us. If you sell something on the banned list, your store gets switched off.

READ THIS FIRST These terms were drafted in-house and have not been reviewed by a lawyer. They are written to describe honestly how the platform actually works today, and they are good enough to set expectations and to point at when a store has to be shut off — but if you are relying on them in a real dispute, get them reviewed. If anything here contradicts what the software actually does, the software is the truth and this document is the bug.

1 · Who is who

SaturnShop (“the platform”, “we”) is store software operated by Eleazar Perez. You are the merchant: the person or business running a storefront on it. A buyer is someone who orders from your store.

We host and display your store. We are not a party to anything you sell. We do not own your products, your customers, or your customer list.

2 · You are the seller of record

This is the clause that matters most. For everything sold through your storefront, you are the legal seller. That means you are responsible for:

You must have the legal right to sell what you list, and to use every image, name and mark you put on your store.

3 · Where the money goes

Stated plainly because it changes who carries the risk:

4 · What it costs

Running a store on SaturnShop currently costs nothing, and we take no percentage of your sales. If that changes, you get notice before it applies to you, per section 10.

5 · Acceptable use

While using SaturnShop you may not:

6 · What you may not sell

This list follows what mainstream payment processors and the card networks treat as off-limits. It applies whether or not you are taking card payments, because it is also the list we check an application against.

Prohibited — never allowed

Restricted — ask first, and expect to show licensing

Dropshipping and arbitrage are allowed. What is not allowed is misleading the buyer about it — if an order ships from a third party, your stated delivery window has to be one you can actually meet. In the US the baseline is the FTC's mail-order rule: if you advertise no shipping timeframe, you need a reasonable basis to ship within 30 days, and past that you need the buyer's consent to the delay or you refund them.

7 · Your store can be switched off

We can move a store to suspended, reject an application, or remove listings — immediately and without notice — if we believe it is selling something in section 6, breaking section 5, defrauding buyers, or exposing the platform to legal or payment-processing risk.

Every status change is recorded with who made it, when, and why. If your store is suspended you can ask for that reason. You keep access to your own order and product data for at least 30 days so you can move elsewhere.

You can stop using SaturnShop at any time. Tell us and we will close the store.

8 · What we do not promise

SaturnShop is provided as-is. There is no uptime guarantee and no service-level agreement. It is a small platform run by one person, and it can go down, lose a feature, or change. Back up anything you cannot afford to lose — the admin has CSV export.

To the extent the law allows it, we are not liable for lost profits, lost sales, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Since the platform is free, a fee-based liability cap would be meaningless; treat our total liability as limited to putting the software back into working order.

9 · You cover us for your own sales

If someone brings a claim against SaturnShop because of something you sold — product liability, an IP or counterfeit claim, unpaid sales tax, a consumer complaint — you are responsible for it, including reasonable legal costs. This is the natural consequence of section 2: you are the seller, so the seller's obligations are yours.

10 · Changes to these terms

These terms carry a version, and the version you agreed to is recorded against your store when you create it. If we change them materially — anything touching money, liability, or what you are allowed to sell — you get notice by email to your store's contact address, and continued use after the effective date means you accept the new version. Typo fixes do not trigger that.

11 · Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. Talk to us first — almost everything is solvable by email.

12 · Contact

Questions about these terms, an abuse report, or a takedown request: eleazarcheckings@gmail.com. For an intellectual-property complaint, include the work, the store, and the listing so it can be actioned quickly.
